Oil, Gas & Energy Sector Security in Pakistan

Ready Guard Security Services supports exploration, production, power and utility operations across Pakistan, including remote and logistically difficult locations. Energy-sector deployments are defined by two things most other sectors never face: sites far from any support, and a security plan that has to sit inside a live process-safety regime rather than alongside it.

Remote Sites Change Every Assumption

At an urban site, a response is minutes away and a relief guard can be sent the same morning. At a wellsite, a seismic crew location or a transmission asset hours from the nearest office, neither is true. Rosters have to account for rotation, accommodation and genuine relief rather than assuming staff can commute. Escalation procedures have to be written around what is actually reachable, and a response commitment that cannot be met is worse than no commitment at all.

We plan remote deployments accordingly: realistic rotation cycles, supervision that physically visits rather than phoning, communications that work where mobile coverage does not, and an escalation ladder that names who is called and what the realistic timeline is. Where a client asks for a response guarantee we cannot honour at a given location, we say so and propose what is achievable instead.

Local context matters as much as logistics. Sustained operation in remote districts depends on community acceptance, land access arrangements and local employment expectations — factors that determine whether a site runs smoothly far more often than the perimeter does. Our regional offices in Peshawar, Quetta, Sukkur, Multan and elsewhere exist so this is handled by people already in the area.

Security Inside A Safety Regime

Energy sites are governed by process safety, and the security plan has to operate inside it rather than cut across it. Guards need to understand permit-to-work systems, hazardous-area access restrictions, ignition-source controls and muster procedures — because a security officer who directs people incorrectly during an emergency creates a safety incident, not just a security failure.

That means personnel on these sites are briefed on the client's HSE regime as part of deployment, emergency and muster roles are agreed in advance with the site's safety function, and contractor access management is run against the permit system rather than a separate visitor log. It also means our reporting feeds the client's own incident process rather than sitting in a parallel file nobody reads.

What A Contract Covers

Delivered Under One Contract

Each element below is run by the same organization, under one agreement and one supervisory chain — so nothing falls into the gap between separate suppliers.

Plant, Refinery & Wellsite Security

Perimeter and gate posts, access control integrated with permit-to-work systems, hazardous-area access discipline, and personnel briefed on the site's HSE regime and muster procedures.

Security Guards & Premises

Remote & Field Site Deployments

Deployments at locations far from support, planned around realistic rotation cycles, physical supervisory visits, workable communications and an escalation ladder built on what is genuinely reachable.

Corporate & Industrial Security

Seismic & Exploration Crew Escort

Escorted movement for survey and exploration crews and their equipment, with route and timing planning, check-in protocols and coordination with local authorities where required.

Armored Vehicles

Pipeline & Distribution Asset Protection

Static posts and mobile patrol coverage across distributed assets — metering stations, compressor sites, substations and right-of-way locations that cannot each justify a permanent deployment.

Rapid Response & Patrols

Expatriate & Technical Staff Protection

Close protection and escorted transport for expatriate technical staff and visiting engineers, with B6+ armored vehicles and vetted protective drivers where the assessment supports it.

Executive Protection

Site Surveys & Contingency Planning

Security surveys for new and existing sites with risk-rated findings, plus evacuation and contingency planning developed jointly with the operator's HSE and security functions.
